Cruise Ship Shore Excursion from the Port of Auckland
For only NZ$150 per person, let us take you on a 5-hour sightseeing tour of Auckland City where the big coaches can't go. We will pick you up from your ships side at 9:30am and drop you off there around at 3pm. This will vary depending on your ships arrival time and departure time.
We will take a drive through Cornwall Park, then on to Newmarket and the Auckland Domain, stopping for a visit at the extraordinary Winter Gardens. You will take a drive down Queen Street, the main shopping street of the city centre, then over the Auckland Harbour Bridge to Devonport Village. You will have time to stroll around the streets of this quaint little village and to purchase some lunch if you wish. Your tour will continue back into the city and along beautiful Tamaki Drive, past some of the best residential locations in Auckland, then on to Mission Bay. You will stop at the Achilles Point Lookout then return along Tamaki Drive to visit the Michael Josef Savage Memorial Gardens for more fantastic views into the City before returning to your ship around 3pm, or to your hotel or International airport for your onward journey.
If you have only one day in our largest city then this tour will give you a relaxed overview, visiting the best vantage points over the city, with a little time for some retail therapy and lunch at one of the many lovely cafes in Devonport.
If your cruise finishes in Auckland we can take you on this Auckland City tour and drop you off at your hotel in Auckland, or drop you off at the Auckland International Airport at the end of your tour, for the same price of NZ$150 per person. Just let me know when you make your booking so I know to bring a luggage trailer with me.
Unfortunately we can no longer go up Mount Eden or Mount Victoria as it is now closed to traffic, so we end our tour at the Michael Joseph Savage Memorial instead, which is another great look-out point and garden.
I invite you to read the reviews I have received from past passengers on Trip Advisor or Cruise Critic.
