Itinerary

Day 1 - Christchurch                                                                                                               You will be met at Christchurch International Airport and transferred to your hotel. (Scenic Circle Fino Casementi All Suite Hotel or similar)

Day 2 - Greymouth
Travel on the Tranz Alpine Express accross the Southern Alps, known as one of the top 10 train journeys in the world, to Greymouth on the West Coast.

Day 3 - Franz Josef Glacier
Follow the West Coast and the Southern Alps south, stopping at Hokitika the Jade Capital of New Zealand before continuing on to the Franz Josef Glacier.

Day 4 - Queenstown
Cross the Southern Alps again, this time at Haast Pass to Lake Wanaka then onto Queenstown. (Scenic Circle Aurum Hotel & Suites or similar - Breakfast Included)

Day 5 - Queenstown
Take a tour of the Queenstown area in the morning, including Arrowtown, then have a free afternoon to explore at your leisure.

Day 6 - Queenstown - Milford Sounds - Queenstown
Travel south to Lake Te Anau, then cross the Southern Alps again, this time through the Homer Tunnel to Milford Sounds.  You will enjoy a buffet lunch while taking a 90-minute cruise through the Sounds before returning to Queenstown for the night.

Day 7 - Omarama
Head north this morning through the Lindis Pass to Omarama, "The Place of Light".  If weather conditions premit you can enjoy a Glider flight in the pristine, clear air,(own cost).            (Heritage Gateway Hotel - Breakfast Included)

Day 8 - Christchurch
It's north to Mount Cook, Lake Pukaki, Lake Tekapo and back to Christchurch.

Terms and Conditions

Cancellation and Refunds

A non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of the full price of your tour is required to secure your booking and the balance is to be paid on the first day of your tour.

Because your deposit is non-refundable I recommend that you arrange your travel insurance prior to paying your deposit.  It is also recommended that your travel insurance should cover the loss of your non-refundable deposit, should some unforeseen circumstance arise which makes it impossible for you to continue with your tour after your deposit payment has been paid.

Archer Tours reserves the right to alter/replace any part of the tour in the event of any adverse weather or road conditions.
